Rehabilitation of the Cementing Gallery at Elevation 296 masl on the Left Shoulder of the Fierza Dam and Its Access Road

The auxiliary and cementing galleries at elevation 296 meters above mean sea level (masl) on the left shoulder of the Fierza dam have been rehabilitated to meet the structure’s safety standards. This intervention aimed to enable full control of the entire dam body, allow for the inspection and maintenance of the monitoring devices installed inside it, and ensure the discharge of groundwater from filtrations. In addition, lighting has been improved and safe access has been created to the areas where maintenance and inspection services are carried out on the dam, including the connection to the new access road leading to the gallery.
