Expansion of the Tirana–Durrës Highway (Lot 1) – Phase II (3+075 ÷ 6+000), L = 2,925 m
The expansion of the Tirana–Durrës highway (Lot 1), Phase II, covers the road segment from kilometer 3+075 to kilometer 6+000, with a total length of 2,925 linear meters. This project is part of a strategic intervention to modernize one of the country’s most important traffic corridors, connecting the capital city with the coastal city of Durrës and Albania’s main port. The goal of the expansion is to increase road capacity, improve traffic flow, and enhance safety for users. The works include widening the roadbed, constructing or upgrading asphalt layers, drainage systems, road signage, and protective elements, as well as building auxiliary structures such as overpasses or underpasses where needed. This segment is designed according to contemporary standards to ensure sustainable and efficient infrastructure, with a direct impact on economic development and improved regional connectivity.
